HIP IP67 WALL

HIP IP67 WALL is a heavy-duty wall-mounted architectural lighting system engineered for demanding environments where water protection, impact resistance and long-term reliability are critical. Built around the same proportions as the standard HIP family, it allows designers to maintain a consistent architectural language across interior, exterior and high-demand areas. At the heart of HIP IP67 WALL is a complex co-moulded tubular lens incorporating external screw flutes, allowing the end caps to be mechanically secured without the fixing screws penetrating the sealed optical chamber. Heavy-duty injection-moulded end caps incorporate co-moulded gaskets and are designed to glow with the tubular lens, maintaining visual continuity across individual fittings and continuous system runs. The underside of the tubular lens remains optically clear, allowing specifiers to select DARKON's familiar opal, deglaring, asymmetric or proprietary narrow lens options. This provides exceptional optical flexibility within an IP67 wall-mounted luminaire. A one-way vent valve allows internal moisture to escape during significant temperature changes while resisting moisture entry. HIP IP67 WALL incorporates purpose-designed easy-install wall mounting brackets, simplifying positioning and installation while securely supporting the luminaire. A dedicated rear cavity accommodates DARKON's plug-and-play through-wiring system, fed via a proprietary IP-rated junction box. This allows continuous system runs to remain factory sealed regardless of overall length, minimising site work that could compromise the IP67 integrity of the luminaire. The substantial tubular lens and robust external construction combine to achieve IK10 impact resistance, making HIP IP67 WALL particularly suited to rail infrastructure, airports, pedestrian walkways, tunnels, lift lobbies, transport environments and covered external applications.
