At the core of the luminaire is DARKON's distinctive 60mm optical aperture, carefully developed to balance lighting performance, efficiency and visual comfort. The profile utilises DARKON's proven combination lens technology, allowing specifiers to select from four optical distributions to suit the requirements of each project while maintaining excellent uniformity and architectural consistency. For projects where glare control is critical, HIP SUS can be paired with DARKON's advanced combination deglaring lens, achieving glare ratings below UGR 19. This makes the system particularly effective in office and education environments where occupant comfort, concentration and visual wellbeing are essential.
