HIP H LP represents the natural evolution of the HIP family, combining DARKON's renowned low-glare optical performance with a sophisticated direct/indirect lighting solution. Designed to deliver balanced illumination and exceptional visual comfort, HIP H LP introduces a low-profile uplight section that creates elegant proportions while maintaining the clean architectural aesthetic that defines the HIP range. At the heart of the luminaire is DARKON's distinctive 60mm optical aperture, paired with the proven HIP combination lens technology. Available with five optical distributions and an optional combination deglaring lens achieving UGR ratings below 19, HIP H LP delivers outstanding visual comfort and performance for offices, education facilities and contemporary workplaces. The defining feature of HIP H LP is its innovative low-profile indirect lighting system, developed to provide a visually balanced relationship between the direct and indirect components of the luminaire. Unlike traditional direct/indirect fittings that can appear bulky or top-heavy, the low-profile uplight maintains a refined architectural form while delivering highly effective ceiling illumination. To further enhance indirect lighting performance, HIP H LP incorporates an optional batwing uplight optic that distributes light laterally across the ceiling plane rather than concentrating it directly above the fitting. This wider distribution reduces hot spots and visible lines of light on the ceiling, improves overall uniformity and increases luminaire spacing while still achieving the lighting levels and consistency required for modern workspaces. The result is a brighter, more comfortable environment that utilises reflected light to improve spatial perception and occupant wellbeing. Available with multiple LED engine options, integrated emergency lighting modules and DARKON's extensive range of decorative finishes, HIP H LP can be customised with timber laminates, sublimation timber finishes, metallic effects and custom powder-coated colours.
