MRS. T SOFT SM holds a special place in the DARKON story. Evolving from the original MR. T direct/indirect profile, she brought a softer and more refined personality to the family. While MR. T was the hardworking tradesman on the factory floor, MRS. T introduced elegance, versatility, and attention to detail, helping establish the design principles that continue to define the DARKON range today. Over time, her wardrobe has grown considerably. What began as a simple profile has evolved into a comprehensive architectural lighting platform, with options including downlights, emergency lighting, decorative laminates, and a variety of optical systems to suit almost any application. Yet despite these additions, the essence of MRS. T remains unchanged: elegant, adaptable, and effortlessly sophisticated. The SOFT version introduces a beautifully sculptured curved end cap that reduces hard edges and creates a calmer architectural form. Designed to complement contemporary interiors, the soft radius transitions naturally into the illuminated lens, producing a seamless glowing appearance that feels both refined and welcoming. Manufactured through a combination of precision aluminium extrusion, advanced CNC machining, and laser welding, MRS. T SOFT SM achieves a level of finish rarely seen within architectural lighting. The spring-loaded end cap system allows for lens expansion while maintaining clean lines, while DARKON's overlapping join technology eliminates light bleed and preserves a continuous illuminated appearance throughout the luminaire. Extending one of the original profile offerings the MR T direct indirect came Mrs. T. the Mr T was a work man, out in the shed on the tools building lights. Mrs. T was in the office attending to enquires and doing the paperwork. Combined the 2 of them were the original founders of the DARKON range. As the family grew in size so did MRS.T’s wardrobe. He expanded offering includes downlights, emergency lights, laminates and a variety of lenses to suit any dinner occasion! She is the princess of the DARKON range.
