DARKON delivered the complete lighting package for a private penthouse residence within Victoria Hill, a high-end multi-residential development in Camberwell defined by contemporary refinement and a modern interpretation of Victorian luxury.
The lighting strategy was conceived as an extension of the architectural language, reinforcing spatial rhythm and material clarity across the residence. Integrated illumination supports a calm visual environment, allowing stone, timber and layered textures to remain the primary spatial drivers. Linear elements align with architectural geometry to maintain architectural restraint while guiding movement through open-plan living zones and transitional spaces.
A cohesive bespoke luminaires solution incorporating two custom-fabricated feature chandeliers by DARKON, provides refined illumination that balances sculptural presence with architectural discipline. Integrated linear profiles and carefully controlled downlighting establish a layered lighting hierarchy, creating a balanced visual environment that transitions from daytime clarity to evening ambience without visual noise.
Cera Stribley’s architectural leadership enabled a cohesive design vision, reflecting DARKON’s ability to translate high-end residential architectural intent into precise, integrated lighting outcomes through collaborative design and considered execution. Quietly resolved, the lighting remains present without demanding attention, allowing architecture and materiality to lead.
