PENINSULA KINGSWOOD COUNTRY GOLF CLUB

Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club is situated in Melbourne’s famous Sandbelt region. Located only 35 minutes from the city centre, the clubhouse overlooks a beautiful course and combines vintage charm with contemporary appeal. Recent major works included the construction of a new 6,000m² golf clubhouse over 3 levels including function rooms, dining areas, bars, members’ facilities, and onsite accommodation.

A fantastic effort by the design team led to the creation of a series of light and open spaces with tastefully detailed feature lighting manufactured at the DARKON production facility in Collingwood. Wall lights made from turned and frosted acrylic rod on custom aluminium mounts were an elegant and effective inclusion, along with hand-made parchment ‘box’ shades to the voids. Beautifully proportioned antique bronze chandeliers with porcelain shades set off the refined atmosphere in the lounges.
