TRIM REC

TRIM REC is a recessed architectural lighting profile designed to deliver the same versatility, performance and visual presence as the T Series family while providing a clean finished edge for recessed installations. Originally developed to conceal cut plasterboard edges, the profile's defining trim detail creates a crisp architectural transition between the luminaire and ceiling surface, resulting in a refined recessed appearance that has since become a defining feature of DARKON's recessed profile range. At its core is a 90mm combination lens, engineered to provide comfortable, controlled illumination across a broad range of architectural applications. The lens is recessed by 1mm from the trim surface, preventing light from washing across the trim and adjacent ceiling surface. This subtle but critical design feature visually suppresses the trim, creating the appearance of a plaster trimless luminaire while retaining the practicality and installation benefits of a trimmed recessed fitting. Measuring 100mm wide by 127mm high, TRIM REC is built around a configurable LED light tray, allowing specifiers to tailor the luminaire to project-specific requirements. TRIM REC accommodates multiple LED engine options, integrated emergency lighting modules and downlights, allowing the luminaire to be configured to suit a wide range of architectural applications. Combined with DARKON's extensive range of optical distributions and output packages, the system offers architects and lighting designers exceptional flexibility while maintaining a consistent recessed appearance and high level of visual comfort.
