S1616 NEON is a high-output, side-emitting silicone neon flex designed to deliver seamless lines of light in architectural applications requiring flexibility, durability and visual refinement. Fully encapsulated within a premium silicone body, the system provides IP67 ingress protection while delivering a smooth, homogeneous illuminated surface ideal for interior and exterior projects. Unlike conventional neon flex products, the DARKON mounting system has been specifically engineered to enhance the architectural appearance of the installation. The custom extruded mounting bracket sits flush with the illuminated lens surface, allowing the neon to appear as a clean continuous line of light. This eliminates the additional bulk often associated with mounting clips that wrap around the outside of the neon, which can introduce unwanted shadow lines, particularly in recessed applications. Installation has also been carefully considered. The extruded clip incorporates a generously sized fixing cavity designed specifically around typical Australian screw sizes, allowing contractors to securely mount the product with ease while maintaining accurate alignment along long runs. S1616 NEON is powered by a high-performance SMD LED platform engineered to deliver exceptional brightness and efficiency while maintaining a rated lifetime of 100,000 hours.
