COLLINGWOOD COLLEGE

Established in 1882, Collingwood College is one of Melbourne’s oldest inner city schools. A complex fabrication specified for the Indoor Sports Centre, located only 250m away from DARKON Head Office, presented a fantastic opportunity to support our local community!

The experienced project team included Phil Dorne who facilitated efficient coordination of the ‘people centred design’ ethos by Smith + Tracey Architects, using MRS.T profile in custom powdercoat finish.

With installation by Lantrak Electrical, an impressive & exciting aesthetic was achieved for our local kids and parents to enjoy for years to come!

The upgrade was delivered by Hutchinson Builders with grant funding by the Victorian School Building Authority for the Yarra City Council. The Victorian Government has committed $6.1 billion for these types of infrastructure projects as part of its Education State reforms, putting Victoria at the cutting-edge of school design!
