MELBOURNE AIRPORT – TERMINAL 2

Recently awarded an Award of Excellence by the IES, fitout of the Melbourne Airport T2 Luxury Retail included a large component of DARKON luminaires selected for their commercial suitability for projects requiring light fittings with long warranty, as required by heavy use applications such as Airports and Universities. STRAIGHT T LED SUS is an example of a very robust fitting with amazing efficacy of over 118 delivered lumens per Watt through its 3-sided OVO 200 polymer acrylic diffuser. Also included in the design were high output DEEPER DOWN MAXI downlights which were part of a coordinated ceiling panel supply involving colour-matched custom gold paint finishes to the ceiling and lights – both supplied by DARKON. An outstanding award winning lighting design by Electrolight Melbourne well-deserving of the recognition received by the Electrical Illuminating Society.
